GEORGE MICHAEL’S GUITARIST MIKE BROWN RECEIVES BEFFTA EXCELLENCE AWARD
Legendary musician Mike Brown who started his career at the tender age of seven with the help of his father is the recipient of the special honorary BEFFTA Excellence Award. Mike brown started from humble beginnings in church and rose up in ranks becoming the guitarist for world famous artists like Sir Cliff Richard, Quincy Jones, Leona Lewis, Damage, Michelle Gayle and many more. However his permanent residency is with George Michael since 2003 to present time. He has toured the world with George Michael including appearing on Oprah Winfrey show and playing at World Music Awards performing the hit song Amazing.
The 6th BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) awards is on 24th and 25th October at The Hippodrome. Stars from US, Africa, Canada, UK the Caribbean and the rest of Europe are expected to turn up in large number. BEFFTA awards honours and celebrates talented personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.
