BEFFTA awards is proud to honour Mary Martin with a special award the BEFFTA Excellence Award. Having started her career as an artist over 3 decades ago and being the first British female signed by Profiles record label in USA, Mary Martin rose in ranks as she worked with established international artists such as Susie and The Banches, Loose Ends, Frankie Paul, Jazzy B and many more. Over the years Mary took over other roles including managing , promoting and styling other artists. She developed a keen interest in fashion and today Mary Martin London is one of the biggest fashion brands that stand out.

The 6th BEFFTA (Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts) awards is on 24th and 25th October at The Hippodrome. Stars from US, Africa, Canada, UK the Caribbean and the rest of Europe are expected to turn up in large number. BEFFTA awards honours and celebrates talented personalities in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.
