BREAKING NEWS: BEFFTA UK 2012 NOMINEES REVEALED IN A STAR-STUDDED MAYFAIR LAUNCH

The global award ceremony that honours and celebrates the achievements of personalities in showbiz is back in London for the 4th year. Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts (BEFFTA)UK 2012 press and nominees announcement launched in a star-studded event in Mayfair, London hosted by the legendary fashion designer Adebayo Jones. Among the press in attendance were BBC’s Julius Mbaluto, Sixoone Media’s David Mbiyu, New African Woman Magazine editor Regina Jere-Malanda and more. BEFFTA entertainment icon and founder of Sutara Performing Arts academy Lorna Sutara Gayle was also among the special guests on the night. Among the nominees on the night was the young talented writer/director/producer Samuell Benta who received 4 nominations for the hit webseries All About The McKenzies and Oliver Twist Dbanj music video dancers the CEO dancers who received a nomination under best dance act.
BEFFTA UK 2012 online voting will begin on Sunday 7th October and end on Sunday 21st October.
The main award ceremony on 27th October.

After an overwhelming public nominations for Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts(BEFFTA) UK awards 2012, the final nominations decided by BEFFTA Members will be revealed at the official press and nomination launch on 26th September. The nomination announcing event will be held in Mayfair part of London and attended by various press, industry personalities including previous BEFFTA winners and nominees.
BEFFTA awards UK is back in London for the 4th year to celebrate and recognise the achievements of hard-working and extremely talented personalities for their contributions in entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts. BEFFTA founder Pauline Long announced BEFFTA UK 2012 nominations live on SKY Channel 182 BEN TV – The Magazine Show. Pauline Long said the team was back in London this year to celebrate the best African/Caribbean achievers in entertainment, film, fashion, television and art. As the public nominate, the BEFFTA Members will be nominating too and drawing up the final list to be announced live on television.

The 3rd annual BEFFTA awards night is confirmed to take place in the Black History Month on 22nd October 2011 at an exclusive prestigious venue with specially invited guests. Meanwhile, BEFFTA Awards USA 2011 debut in Antlanta was a success.
Even though the nominations are purely based on the public nominating, the final nomination list will be decided by BEFFTA members and revealed at the nomination and press launch. BEFFTA Members consists of a panel of professionals from the world of entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.

The second annual BEFFTA awards night is confirmed to take place in the Black History Month on 30th October at the prestigious Central Hall Westminster, The Great Hall. Meanwhile, BEFFTA Awards will debut in USA in February 2010 during the Black History Month. “The awards ceremony has been established to recognise and reward hard working individuals from Asian, African and Caribbean community who put in a lot in entertainment, film, fashion, television and art but don’t get much recognition”, Founder of BEFFTA Pauline Long explained
Even though the nominations are partially based on the public nominating, the final nomination list will be decided by BEFFTA members and revealed on 23rd August with the official press and nomination launch on 1st September. BEFFTA Members consists of a panel of twenty professionals from the world of entertainment, film, fashion, television and arts.
